Auction Consignment

Selling your coins at a major public auction is generally considered the best way to get top value for them. Whether you have a single significant piece, a small group of spares or an entire collection to sell, we make it easy and inexpensive for you to realize the maximum price.

bullet

We determine the catalogue value and write the descriptions.

bullet

We do not charge any cataloguing, photography or insurance fees.

bullet

There is no charge if you wish to set reasonable reserve prices, though there may be a fee of up to 10% of catalogue value if a piece does not sell because of an unreasonably high reserve.

bullet

You pocket 90% of the hammer price on sales totaling $20,000 or less, and your rate of return progressively grows as the value of your consignment increases.

bullet

Settlement is 35 days after the sale (7 days after the purchasers' return limit date).

We aggressively advertise and market our auctions. In April 1999, we were the first Auction company to run an auction concurrently live and on the internet, and we continue to do this through eBay LiveAuctions.
